This site contains a collection of curated data sets that you can explore to practice and extend the skills you learn during your Posit Academy apprenticeship.

How to use this site

As you work on your Academy project over the course of your apprenticeship, you may wish to explore additional data sets as you practice and build your data science skills, particularly in your milestone extensions.

You can find available data sets here, which you can download as .csv files. Or, if you prefer, or you can search for new data sets on your own. Once you have identified a new data set you’d like to explore, you can upload it to your Academy campsite.

How to upload a new data set to your Academy campsite

1. Switch to the Files pane in your RStudio IDE
2. Navigate to the directory you wish to upload files into
3. Click the Upload toolbar button (this will open a pop-up window)
4. Under “File to upload”, click “Browse” to choose the file you wish to upload and then click OK
